At only 3 months old, Quincy has already been through a tough situation. He was given away because the person who had him and his siblings couldn’t or wouldn’t pay for the care for his injured leg. Through Harley’s Hope, Jose offered to take the sweet pup and give him a good life.

At first, Jose thought Quincy may have a twisted leg or a pulled muscle, but after getting him to a veterinarian, Jose discovered Quincy’s leg was broken. Jose is employed, but a single father and in between paychecks. The clinic referred him to Harley’s Hope Foundation and Gingers Legacy, another animal care foundation, and both safety net charities agreed to funding treatment for Quincy’s broken leg. Their financial help was able to support Quincy, and he just has to be neutered when he’s old enough.
