Dino is a sweet five year old kitty who suffered terribly from urinary blockages. There were three times this happened within a 45 day period. His veterinarian told his human parents Mark and Kita that PU surgery-  perineal urethrostomy- was the only way to save his life. It’s a surgery that can be a life-saver for male cats who experience recurrent urinary blockages. According to Pet MD, “a PU is a wonderful option for a cat that has experienced multiple or severe urinary blockages and is facing the possibility of euthanasia if his condition cannot be ameliorated.”

While Mark is employed part-time, Kita is battling her own health issues and was hospitalized the same night Dino underwent surgery. Despite this being a difficult time for the family, Dino won’t be facing potentially life-threatening blockages again!
