Did you know that Harley’s Hope Foundation offers low-cost and, periodically, free Cat and Dog First Aid/CPR classes as community outreach and public education activities?
The free class offered on May 7th at the East Library in Colorado Springs was facilitated by Cynthia Bullock, HHF Executive Director and Red Cross Pet CPR instructor, and was attended by numerous dedicated pet parents looking to obtain life-saving skills.
Attendees learned how to create a pet first aid kit and evacuation bag, how to assess an ill or injured animal, perform rescue breathing and CPR, as well as respond to a choking pet, dress a wound, and deal with a variety of other potential life-threatening pet emergencies.
If you’re interested in attending one of these classes in the future follow us on facebook or subscribe to our newsletter to keep track of upcoming events!
