August Director’s Notes

With September right around the corner and it being National Disaster Preparedness Month, now is a good time to review your own level of preparedness.  If you had to evacuate for any reason, do you have a “to-go” bag for your pets?  Do you know where you would go with them if you couldn’t stay with friends?

There are some wonderful articles and brochures available from the Humane Society of the United States and the ASPCA, to name a few, that outline just what should be done, not only for small companion animals, but horses as well.

Visit any of the links below to find helpful checklists and information on how to care for yourself and your animals during times of disaster.
