If you didn’t get to join us last month for our 2017 Tea and Biscuits fundraiser, mark your calendars now for Sunday, December 9, 2018.  Approximately 60 attendees gathered at the Black Forest Community Center last month to enjoy a tea buffet with scones, clotted cream, tea sandwiches, assorted teas, and an array of desserts.  Santa made a special guest appearance and everyone enjoyed the musical entertainment provided by a talented trio of musicians representing the Pikes Peak Jazz and Swing Society.

We received so much positive feedback including one compliment from a guest who favorably compared our tea to that at the famous Brown Palace in Denver!  Special thanks to the Black Forest Community Club for allowing us use of the center, to our fabulous volunteer musicians, Santa, and a host of elves who set up, baked, poured tea, and made for a very special occasion – Jeanna, Shelley, Bill, Gail, David, Kyle, Kelly, Lauryn, Bob, Monica, Brandon and Sheree.
