September 2018 Director’s Notes

We’re very excited to be hosting this year’s Tastings, Tapas, and Treasures fundraiser at the Cottonwood Center for the Arts. Management is generously allowing us the use of two galleries and the lobby to display art for sale, silent auction items, and our tasting stations. As of this writing, we are happy to welcome back 3 Hundred Days of Shine, Blue Fish Distillery and Bristol Brewing. New this year is Sovereignty Wines and, we are still looking for another winery and one more brewery, so please spread the word.

Providing food this year is local caterer The Picnic Basket. If you attended last year’s event, you know the food quantities fell far short of the mark (different venue, different caterer), but that won’t be the case this year! Also, new to this year’s event is the tastings passport. Get your passport stamped at all of the tasting stations and be entered to win some fun prizes.

Tickets are on sale now at http://www.eventbee.com/event?eid=139466774 for the advance price of $30. Prices go up to $35 as of September 12th. Even if you can’t make it, please share with others who might enjoy this type of event. There is never enough funding to support all of the requests for help we receive, so we’re hoping for a great turnout!
