This unhappy looking boy is Xander, a 10 year old, male Tabby. He underwent emergency surgery last month due to bladder stones that were causing a urethral obstruction, which is a potentially life-threatening condition in male cats. Xander’s person, Juliet, is currently off on a work-related disability, and is hoping to return to work soon, but assistance was needed right away. Harley’s Hope and Red Rover Relief gladly contributed towards Xander’s surgery. According to the clinic, Xander did well in the operation and should make a full recovery. He’ll need to be on a prescription diet to prevent the formation of future stones, but we hope the next picture we receive is of a much happier, healthier kitty. Thank you to all our supporters that make helping pets and people like Xander and Juliet possible!
