So, if you need more motivation to join us at our holiday events, here you go!  Proceeds from our fundraising efforts are used to help pets like Nippet who is approximately 6 months old. Nippet’s jaw had been accidentally broken by the family dog and had previously been treated. The dog, a beagle, got along fine with the cats, but had developed a bad ear infection. Nippet made the unfortunate decision to bat at the dog’s painful ear and he reacted in the moment causing the original injury. While the break was treated, the jaw has subsequently become misaligned, causing Nippet pain and allowing her to eat only soft food. She is undergoing special treatment to correct the issue. The family is dealing with their own medical issues, caring for a disabled relative, and needed a bit of help. We’re glad we were in the position to do so.
