Hank is a 9-year-old pup who lives with his person, Shawn, and a kitty named Moby. Hank underwent surgery last month to remove mast cell tumors. Shawn applied for assistance because he struggles with his own health issues and had to take a medical retirement.

Hank’s surgery at Cook Veterinary Hospital went well and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that the histopathology report comes back with good news.

Thank you to Leslie Bennett Loehr, who asked that memorial donations made in memory of her husband, Buddy, be directed to Harley’s Hope. Those gifts were used to help cover Hank’s surgery and surgery for another dog, Pudgie, who is also battling cancer.
