Most of us don’t go into adopting a pet thinking we’ll have to deal with an emergency right off the bat. Unfortunately, for Dani and her new companion, Cutie Pie, that’s what happened.

Dani took Cutie Pie (an appropriate name!) in to have her spayed and the veterinarian discovered a mass on the dog’s right side. He referred her to Planned Pethood and the doctor there discovered a growth on the dog’s appendix. Cutie Pie underwent surgery last month and is now home. So far, so good, and Dani shared her gratitude with Keith, our Pet Care Coordinator—”Thank you so much! God bless you and what you do!” And our thanks go out to all of you for making it possible to do what we do!
