Murder Speaks Easy!

A great time was had by all, except maybe the corpse. Over 180 people, many in 1920’s regalia, enjoyed a fun-filled evening of food, cocktails, a silent auction, and murder—all to benefit Harley’s Hope, Safe Place for Pets, and Elite Equine Rescue.

This was the first time these charities worked together and the hard work and camaraderie paid off, raising funds for all three groups. A big part of the reason we made money on this first-year effort is due in part to our sponsors—Cintas, St. Paws Thrift Store, Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and B&B Creations. The other reason?  All of you who came and helped make it a success!

If you didn’t get tickets for this sold-out event, don’t despair. The groups are in talks to make this an annual event, changing out the theme of the murder mystery, but keeping the fun and camaraderie. Stay tuned for more details, but meanwhile, enjoy photos from this year’s event.
