Our volunteers are essential to achieving our mission of keeping pets and people together. In this edition, we’d like to introduce you to one of our newer volunteers Rhiannon Lee. Rhiannon learned about us at the Pet Expo in May and has been an active volunteer since then. Thank you Rhiannon for supporting Harley’s Hope Foundation!

What motivates you to serve as a volunteer? I am motivated to volunteer because I am finally in a place where I am able to help others. I have relied on aid organizations in my past and this is my chance to pay that back.
What brought you/keeps you as a volunteer for HHF? I have seen the benefits of keeping people and their pets together. My day job is in mental health, and the impact of this program on the mental well-being of people is tremendous.
What is one thing that volunteering has taught you? I have learned patience and tolerance from volunteering over the years. Not all situations are black and white.
Are you a dog person or a cat person? Yes, lol. Barks or meows are great with me.
