Our volunteers are essential to achieving our mission of keeping pets and people together. In this edition, we’d like to introduce you to Jill Whalen. Jill has been volunteering with HHF since 2021 and has supported a variety of activities including many of our drive-through Pet Pantries (see photo). Thank you Jill for supporting Harley’s Hope Foundation!  

What motivates you to serve as a volunteer? 

I love being part of a group that is making a difference. It’s always great to learn new things and meet new people.

What brought you/keeps you as a volunteer for HHF? 

The mission! Helping animals is my passion and there’s such an enormous need. Not to mention, the volunteers at HHF are really some of the best!! 

What is one thing that volunteering has taught you?

Volunteering has taught me humility. I’ve been blessed and I’m humbled to be able to bless others. 

Which do you prefer: dogs or cats? 

Although I do love all animals, I prefer dogs. I have the softest heart for a senior dog!
