…that we have a wonderful nonprofit organization that’s been helping older adults in our community for over 50 years? Silver Key Senior Services was founded in 1971 and offers a wide range of services and assistance for seniors in the Pikes Peak Region, including a popular event we participated in last month.

The fourth annual Silver Key Senior Services Senior Summit was held on May 15, 2025, from 8 am-2 pm at Great Wolf Lodge. Mayor Yemi was happy to welcome everyone and engage in conversation about aging. This was a free event for the community to gather and enjoy free food, resources, and information from a variety of sponsors and speakers. Information sessions and activities encompassed a variety of topics such as smartphones, cardio drumming, building muscle and bone as we age, housing, community food resources, and elder scams.
