As we close out 2025, I want to take a moment to announce my retirement, effective December 31st. It has been my honor to create Harley’s Hope in memory of my special girl, and to assist so many pet parents and their companions over the last 15.5 years. But, I’m not going away completely. I’ll be transitioning to the Board of Directors, and continuing to write grants and assist where needed, but taking more time for myself, my family, and my fur babies after more than 36 years in the charitable sector.
Our current Pet Care Coordinator, Jennifer McGilton, will step into an expanded role as Services Manager, overseeing all of the services we offer. She’ll be assisted by our Lead Direct Animal Care Volunteer, Jamie Stricklett, and supported by our current Board of Directors: Eva Richardson, President, JD Donaldson, Vice President, Jeffrey A. Rosen, Treasurer, Emily Keim, Secretary, Bree Williams, Director of Marketing, Cindy Carvel, Director-at-Large, and me in my new role.
Thank you to everyone who has helped Harley’s Hope survive and continue to make a difference after all of these years. Whether you’ve volunteered, served on the Board, donated, or shared our good work with others, I thank you and encourage you to continue being involved.
Happy Holidays to You All!
Cynthia Bullock
