Board Spotlight: Jeffrey Rosen

What first inspired you to get involved with Harley’s Hope Foundation?

I got involved because the mission just clicked for me. The way Harley’s Hope supports both older adults and their pets feels meaningful and often overlooked, and I loved that the organization focuses on keeping that bond strong.

What do you see as the Board’s most important responsibility?

I think the Board’s biggest job is keeping the organization steady and mission-driven. That means making smart decisions, staying accountable, and making sure we’re always advocating for the older pet parents we serve.

How do you hope community members will engage with our work?

I’d love for the community to see Harley’s Hope as a resource worth supporting. Whether that’s volunteering, spreading the word, connecting people to services, or donating, every bit of involvement helps keep older adults and their pets together.

What’s your favorite way to recharge outside of work?

I recharge myself by hanging out with my three dogs and getting lost in Virtual Reality (VR). Playing with them pulls me out of work mode instantly – it’s simple, happy chaos that resets my whole mood. When I slip on my Oculus headset, I get a different kind of escape, diving into worlds that let my brain unwind in a totally immersive way. Together, these two things are my perfect reset.
