Amethyst is only four years old, but was in danger of losing her eyesight due to a medical condition. She required specialty surgery that her mom, Pamela, couldn’t afford on disability income. We spoke with Pam’s veterinarian who told us how deserving she was of the help and that she always puts her animals first. We love to hear that, and love to help people who understand that having a pet is a lifetime commitment, often requiring a sacrifice. Pam sought and received funding for the surgery and HHF is happy that we were one of several organizations giving Amethyst a chance at life with her vision intact.
