Harley’s Hope Foundation has a unique foster opportunity that may be the perfect fit for you!

Have you ever considered fostering but hesitated because you weren’t sure how long you would have a foster dog in your home? Our Short-term Foster Care Program may be for you.

Our foster volunteers provide a safe, loving temporary home for animals whose owners have been unexpectedly hospitalized and are unable to care for them. Because we never know when these requests will come in, our foster homes may be inactive for a period of time and then be called upon to step in when an animal urgently needs a place to go.

What you can expect:
 Provide a safe and caring temporary home
 A home inspection is required in accordance with PACFA licensing requirements
 Previous animal experience is recommended, including experience introducing new animals to pets already in the home
 Harley’s Hope will provide supplies such as crates, litter boxes, pet food, and other necessary items
 Harley’s Hope will cover necessary veterinary care while the animal is in our custody
